Shorinji
Kan Jiu Jitsu is taught in several countries under the guidance of The Jitsu
Foundation and Brian Graham, Shihan, the head of style. Based primarily
on locking and throwing techniques which have evolved over thousands of years,
Shorinji Kan Jiu Jitsu provides an extremely effective self-defence system.
Jiu Jitsu can be used by anyone irrespective of strength, weight, or gender
and offers an enjoyable atmosphere for participants to acheive a higher fitness
level.
Carleton University's Jiu Jitsu Club will be joined on stage by guests
from the YMCA Jiu Jitsu Club and Queens University's Jiu Jitsu
